Anyoung everybody! Today I’m back with a diary, I’ll tell you about my adventures in Wien-Bratislava. So, let’s get started!

We landed in Wien’s airport in the afeternoon, to go to our hotel (that was in Stephansplatz), we took the Railjet ÖBB train to the central station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) that costs 4 euros and then we took the metro U1 (the ticket costs 2.40 euros) towards Leopoldau.

First of all, we went to visit the Stephansdom that’s situated in Stephansplatz and you can get there by metro, using the line U1,U3 or U4, the stop is Stephansplatz.
The entrance is free, you pay 6 euros only if you want to go on the top of the church, and I advice you to go there, the view is just amazing!

After that, we were supposed to see Mozart’s house, but we wouldn’t have had enough time to see everything, the visit lasts like 1h20, and the museum closes like at 7 p.m, so we just went for a walk around the city center. Before of going anywhere, I advice you to find a supermarket where you can buy some water, because we paid 2.60 euros in a bar for a 33cl bottle of water.. While walking in the city center we went in this supermarket, where you can buy water for like 60 cents. After that we just got lost in Wien’s alleys, we bought a Pretzel and decided where to eat.

At last we decided to eat at the Figlmuller, this experience was just awkward, I mean, the food was excellent, but it was awkward. Here I learnt that in any restaurant/pub, they won’t open you for no reason the windows if it’s too hot, unless you suffer from low pression. Lets’ move into the most important part, the food. We took the Figlmuller schnitzel, the taste was amazing, and it was really big, I mean it was big like a pizza. We paid like 20 euro for a schnitzel, some potatoes and a beer.
